How To Pick the Right Next Wedding Ads Strategy For Your Current Business Stage

Everyone knows that Facebook & Instagram Ads are currently the fastest way to build a wedding business and get more bookings. But everyone also knows, running ads without the right strategy, is a really fast way to loose a lot of money. Either by getting no bookings at all, or by getting you the wrong bookings.

Picking the right next Facebook and Instagram ad strategy for you, at this stage of your business, is and artform in itself. I am going to go over 5 different ad strategies, and how to decide which is best for you for the next season.

Every wedding vendor starts with a why.

Why you picked up a camera.
Why you crafted floral arrangements that make brides cry.
Why you stepped into the sacred responsibility of serving a couple on the most meaningful day of their lives.

No single ad strategy works for every vendor.

Your wedding business has its own ecosystem—your brand, your authority, your style, your average booking, the market you want to attract, and the one you’re attracting now.

Choosing the wrong ad strategy can do more harm than good.

It can fill your calendar with clients who don’t appreciate your work…
or flood your inbox with inquiries you can’t convert because your sales strategy isn’t built to support them.

Each requires different benchmarks—authority, content creation, booking rate, brand strength, sales skill—before you can deploy it effectively.

3. What is your risk tolerance? How much money are you willing to spend on ads without booking a wedding?

4. Are you already booking couples at the price you want to be at? If you are not, and you want to raise your price, you may need a quick pricing & branding audit before you choose the ad strategy.

5. What price range are you at? Are you economical? Are you mid tier? Are you luxury? Are you ultra luxury? You have to know this to pick the right ad strategy, that is going to attract your ideal clients from the beginning.

6. How confident are you on your consults? What is your closing rate with your different inquiry sources? What type of inquiry sources are you getting now? Do you have strong experience selling couples from ads? Or only from organic, website, or referral couples?

7. How booked up are you already? Is your calendar wide open? Are there gaps in your season, months with no bookings? This will not only change your ad strategy, but the contents of your ads as well.


There are many more questions to ask yourself, to discover what is the first ad strategy to deploy. The next thing to learn, is how long do you stick with that ad strategy, when do you switch or ad a new strategy into the mix.
